Sustainable Procurement and Supply Chain Management
BetVictor’s business is highly technical, providing entertainment services rather than tangible products. Its supply chain is therefore predominantly highly skilled and technical in nature, mainly within the information technology, sports data, professional services and marketing sectors.
BetVictor’s approach to sustainable procurement promotes working with industry leading, reputable, socially responsible and ethical third parties. BetVictor includes contractual provisions to ensure that these third parties are compliant with all applicable laws.
BetVictor’s supplier-selection and due diligence processes rely on industry-leading reports, which notify the company of the organisations and individuals which either have committed, or are under investigation for, human rights violations and other humanitarian crimes, such as, but not limited to:
- People and/or organ trafficking
- Modern slavery
- Abuse
- Promotion of, and involvement in, illegal prostitution
- Genocide and war crimes
Wherever possible, BetVictor further minimises its supply chain risk by keeping much of its business in-house, allowing it to closely monitor the working conditions throughout its business.
Training and Awareness
BetVictor ensures ethical practices by i) requiring its staff to complete comprehensive inductions and ongoing training programmes ii) providing its staff with easy access to a wide range of guidance, policies and procedures. Taken together, these measures limit the risk of BetVictor’s supply chain and business being affected by modern slavery and human trafficking. BetVictor reviews the efficacy of these measures on an ongoing basis.
